Testament - The Formation Of Damnation Had the pleasure of creating the whole artwork for the 9th studio album by thrash metal titans Testament - out now on Nuclear Blast records. Featuring Paul Bostaph (Slayer, Exodus, Forbidden) on drums alongside the original line-up of Chuck Billy, Eric Peterson, Alex Skolnick and Greg Christian. Like with Mekong Delta, I had the honor to give my opinion when choosing between two optional album titles, as once again the artwork was conceived before the final lyric set. Being on the subject of honor , last 3 Testament albums were done by Dave McKean , who's one of my all time heroes, so you can imagine how psyched I am about this one . The album comes with a fully illustrated 20-page booklet , and a deluxe double digibook edition - Eric Peterson handled all matters of concept and direction and closely supervised the process with endless enthusiasm , resulting in the most detailed project I ever took. |
